About us

Our Mission and Commitment

The Don’t Worry Willy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to lowering the barriers of access and understanding of mental health for children and the children we once were.

Through imaginative storytelling, community engagement, and creative arts programming, Don't Worry Willy has reached over 9,000 children and families so far, and we are just getting started. We create spaces where kids can explore their feelings, discover healthy coping tools, and build resilience through:

  • Don't Worry Willy The Musical

  • Willyverse Experiences

  • Self-care kits

  • Mental Health Programming

  • Access Grants

Every adventure in the Willyverse invites hearts and minds to embrace their emotions, celebrate their uniqueness, and grow stronger together.

Every purchase directly supports our vision from the stage to the page, to ensure every child has access to the stories and the tools they need to thrive. We can't wait to have you at one of our Willyverse Experiences  coming to a city near you!

Welcome to the Willyverse!

Real Stories, Real Impact

"The songs were amazing! The music and lyrics were amazing and really enhanced the topics. You did a great job with the multicultural characters and including language references."

“Every single student was able to connect to this play…they are still talking about it.”
"The kids were so into the story! Like actually listening and reacting. One of the real sweet things was one of the kids (in the audience) would applaud anytime a character accomplished their goal or overcame a struggle."
"I was just blown away by the music, intentionality, and I could literally see each one of my children in those characters. The show brought me to tears because so many times mental health issues are often misunderstood as behavioral flaws. Everyone needs to see this show."
“The performance delivered a vital message of representation and connection.”
